About me
From design to Habitat Marte.
I'm Ana Karen Ramírez, an analog astronaut with a mission at Habitat Marte in Brazil, a digital creator and one of Latin America's leading voices in STEM. I combine design, artificial intelligence and community to change how women lead and take part in technology.
My mission is to educate the next generation of leaders and help companies navigate the future of work with ethical, human and diverse technology.
My story
I started out designing interfaces.
I studied Digital Art at Tecnológico de Monterrey and earned a Full-Time MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from EGADE Business School. I worked as a UX/UI designer and co-founded projects that combined health and technology in clothing, such as Bloomer Tech.
In 2014 I was the only woman on my team and at the hackathons I attended. That's how Epic Queen was born: to inspire girls and women to be brave and curious. We have now impacted more than 100,000.
Today I design AI productivity ecosystems and methods to mitigate algorithmic bias, and I train companies to keep human judgment above the algorithm.
